Abigail is an excellent mother. She produces a sufficient amount of milk while keeping a good body score. Her lineage includes Cperuvian Aldo and Cperuvian Cherokee.
She has nice high frequency crimp and carries quite a dense fleece. Although she is not fine, she has very little guard hair. When bred to a fine herdsire she produces a fine offspring. Her first cria, Li'l Abner's 2010 fleece stats were: AFD: 18.12 u SD: 4.75 u CV: 26.2% SpF: 18.5 u Comfort Factor: 98.0% Curve: 48.8!
Abigails 2009 cria and 2011 cria were easy sellers! Her 2011 cria was bay black out of a light fawn colour, this girl can throw colour! Abigail's 2012 cria is her best yet! Although Penny is only 2 weeks old, you can already see the character and the density that this girl possesses. We have decided to keep Penny to add to our foundation herd so Abigail is available after weaning.
Abigail has been bred to Wyldwood's Lucky for a 2014 cria. Abigail has produced black out of a light fawn herdsire before so we are excited to see what this pairing will produce!
