Awards

Alpaca Central animals are relatively new to the show ring.  Prior to 2008, they were unknown having never been shown.  In 2009 Alpaca Central entered the show ring as a force to be reckend with.  Although the basis of our breeding program is the quality of the fibre, not the show ring, we realize that to be successful in the current alpaca industry there is still a lot of focus given to the number of ribbons won.
We're extremely proud of our show results, having achieved the status of Colour Champion on several occasions since 2009 with multiple alpacas in multiple competitions from Full Fleece Halter, to Fleece to Spin-off competitions.  In 2010 three of our foundation herdsire Royal Lear's progeny were chosen as Colour Champions!
