Leroy Brown is an outstanding male in all aspects. Leroy has stunning fleece with his fineness, rich and uniform colour, amazing crimp and good shear weight remaining consistent year after year. However, this does not really come as a surprise as Leroy’s sire, Royal Lear maintained an AFD: 24.17 SD: 5.37 CV: 22.2% >30u: 11.9% at 14 years of age! Leroy is a solid, upright male with excellent confirmation who carries himself with an impressive presence. He has a great temperament, easy to handle and most importantly – easy to breed!
Beginning his show career in late 2009, Leroy has been a consistent champion in all aspects (full fleece halter, fleece and spin-off). Judges comments include: "Wow.. you should be very proud of this animal!" (Mike Safely - 2010), "Wait, hold old is he again? Sorry I keep asking, I just don't believe it!" (Helen Humphreys - 2011), "He is starting to show some primaries as he ages, however, his primary and secondary fibres share the same micron, making them difficult to tell apart. His primaries are finer than some of the juvies!" (Kevin O'Leary - 2012)
