We have a wide variety of females available for sale in multiple colours, ages and carrying multiple genetic lines. All breeding females come bred and include a 1 year live birth guarantee. Maiden females may include a future breeding contract which also includes the same live birth guarantee. Due to the size of our herd, our inventory is constantly changing to offer you only the best for your future herd. The proof is in the progeny! Click on underlined names for more information, contact info@alpacacentral.ca for pricing.
In addition to the quality of the cria and critical to our breeding program, we carefully assess each of our females on ease of breeding and birth as well as their natural instincts in nurturing their cria and their ability to produce milk. Our breeding program can only be as successful as the females we use.

Maiden Females
We have the advantage of volume within our herd and therefore do not need to rush a young female into our breeding program before she is ready. We carefully assess each one to ensure mature size has been reached prior to breeding, to give both the female and her cria the best chance possible. As each animal grows differently, if she's not ready, we hold her over another year.

Cuter than imaginable, alpaca cria are everyone's favourite, however remember they don't stay small forever. They can be the most cost effective way to either start or grow a herd. Our cria are weaned between 5-6 months of age once they are eating a full adult diet. We do not over handle our cria, however as with the rest of our herd, they are definitely accustomed to human touch during feeding and regular herd maintenance.
