As part of our seemingly natural evolutionary process, we have taken the next leap, and our business venture to the next level. Alpaca Central’s Gallery 109 was officially opened for business last week-end. After several weeks of planning and renovations, the heat was turned on, inventory laid out and labelled, and the doors thrown open (well not quite!). It was a blustery week-end, but we still managed to have several customers and some sales.
Gallery 109, aptly named for our location on County Rd 109, will feature not only luxury alpaca products made from our own alpaca fleece, but also unique one of a kind products handcrafted by local Ontario artisans. Inventory will change frequently as new artists are added, so Gallery 109 will take on its own evolutionary process of growth and change.
Who knew that a mere 4 years ago when we first purchased the farm, our lives would be so different and we would have ventured down so many different paths of adventure? We continue to meet the most amazing and diverse people along the way and poor Aldo has trouble keeping up with who is who, not to mention the names of all the alpacas!
